Hello!

I'm Simran, a product designer with 2+ years of experience turning rough ideas into products people actually understand. I care as much about why something works as how it looks, which usually means asking uncomfortable questions before opening Figma.

Good design is a kind of quiet. Interior design taught me that first, and screens turn out to be the same problem with faster feedback. Rooms are unforgiving teachers: put a door in the wrong place and people feel it every single day, and not one of them can tell you why. Now the doors are buttons. I've spent the last two years designing them for startups in astrology, fintech, food delivery and home services, etc.

Born creative

Screens are just rooms with faster feedback. Same job: get people where they're going without making them think about it.

How i think

Not a process diagram. Just what I actually believe, learned from shipping real things and getting a few of them wrong.

  • I want to know what's broken and who it's breaking for before I open Figma.

When i'm not designing

No brief, no users, no deadline.
